I attended school here back in 07-08 when it still went by the name "Gainesville State College" and was just started to expand and start construction on multiple projects to improve the academic facilities as well as making the campus more of a place that students would spend more time at and therefore increasing the likely hood of students that participated and and took advantage of growing list of activities and services available to them that otherwise might not of even been aware off. Given these changes since my time here I'm almost certain that my rating would increase to 4 or possibly even 5 stars instead of the 3 I have given in this review.
Great school and great teachers!!! Teachers are very helpful. Love this school. Tuition is good! Highly recommended!!!!
Loved their campus. Nicely laid out. Love their track and tennis courts. I enjoyed the people there. Parking can be hectic at times (but that's normal). Their water fountain was a beautiful addition. Educationally it was a great experience I loved my teachers. Definitely worth a try.
They have hosted the Hall County Relay For Life the past two years and it has been a blessing. Be a college campus surrounded by several medium-sized cities it is fed with a plethora a variety of students. It's academic courses are above average and it's campus cleanliness is above average.
While I gave it one star, the Paralegal program is very good. The school as a whole on the other hand has a lot of work to do and because there are 4 campuses this is reflective in all of them and it started before the consolidation. There are problems in Financial Aid, Registrars Office, Presidents Office, and just all over. It is run like the government runs everything instead of being more like a private entity. Also the budgets are completely out of whack. The police chief got a new 60,000 dollar vehicle and yet employees were forced to fore go pay and work over the holiday break since the public safety department is manned 24/7.
